Third Reich German Eagle Locomotive Plaque

Lets Talk Militaria UK

This rare gold railway eagle is a stunning and impressive piece that could serve as the centerpiece of any collection display. It is a "Wagen" (railway car) size example, labeled as 600 mm but slightly larger, measuring 24-3/4 inches wingtip to wingtip. Covered in gold leaf with evident age and wear, it is believed to have been specially produced. Manufactured by the Pinter foundry, it features mounting studs on the reverse, with the maker mark, "Wagen" designation, and alloy composition (GAL-Mg-Si) stamped on the back. With most of its gold finish intact and beautiful patina, this eagle has never been cleaned or polished, making it highly desirable. The locomotive is the RZA 4 Berlin line.
